Core Research is undertaking this survey on behalf of 12 colleges / universities in Ireland funded by the HEA and CUAN and Led by TU Dublin. We are gathering views from students nationwide to better understand experiences regarding relationships, consent, and sexual harassment. This research is conducted in line with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct. Your honest feedback will directly help shape safer campus cultures and support services at your college / university and across the country. This survey takes an of average 15 minutes to complete, and we would really appreciate your views.
This survey includes questions about:
- About you & your studies and student life
- Campus environment
- Relationship culture among students
- Consent & sexual norms
- Knowledge of supports & reporting
- Harassment experiences (what students observe / hear about)
- Personal experiences since starting college / university
- Media & online influence
- Communications & culture shift messaging
- Optional: follow-up online community (expression of interest)
Anonymity & Data Privacy: Your responses are completely anonymous. We do not collect names or student IDs. Your individual answers will not be traceable by your specific university/college. The data is processed independently and reported only in aggregate (group) format. By aggregate, we mean results at a total level rather than at the individual level.
Consent: Please be aware that this survey includes questions about sexual violence, harassment, and non-consensual experiences. Participation is 100% voluntary.
Withdrawal: Because of the nature of some of the questions in the survey, if you would like to stop at any point, please feel free to do so.
