Listening to partners of serving personnel: sharing experiences to shape better support

This survey is being carried out by an independent research organisation called M·E·L Research, on behalf of the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust (AFCFT). The aim is to understand the experiences of partners of serving personnel / reservists who have accessed services or support delivered by one of their partner organisations from 2023 onwards.

You are being invited to feedback on your experiences. This is because we believe you accessed services or support through a project funded by the AFCFT and are, or were, at the time of access, the partner of someone serving in the UK Armed Forces or as a reservist.

This survey aims to better understand the experiences of partners of serving personnel / reservists. We will be asking questions about:

• The support and / or services you received and how this helped you.
• Your experiences of the support and / or services you received.
• A bit about you – this will help us to understand the different types of people who responded to the survey as well as the types of people who have been supported.

This survey is anonymous and the information you provide will be used solely for the purposes of the evaluation.

You can stop taking part at any time, and you don’t have to tell us why. If you don’t want to take part, it will not affect any support or access to services you receive or your relationship with the AFCFT, alongside any opportunities to share your ideas and thoughts in the future.

As the survey is completely anonymous, once you submit your response to the survey you will be provided with an ID. You will need to keep a record of this so that we can identify your survey response if you would like to withdraw your response for any reason. You can withdraw your response up until midnight on the 20th November 2026. If you do not keep a record of this, we will not be able to identify your response so will be unable to remove your data if you request this.

The survey should take around 12 minutes to complete. You can ask for a friend, family member or one of our evaluation team to help you complete the survey.
